Personally I learned a lot about how meats are a danger to our life styles and how they mess up the amount of insulin we produce so our cells can get the glucose needed. Although I did want to ask what is the opinion athletes eating lots of healthy foods and being on a bulking protein diet, on a goal to become bigger?
Thanks for listening to this episode and thanks for your question. To get more information on athletes, protein, and building strength there are n=many resources available like The Game Changers documentary and our interview with James Wilks (episode 320) for example. We have also covered this on many other podcast episodes. You can search our site to find some of them.
This episode was great. It taught me about weight loss medicine, the paleo diet, and the effects of animal protein and sugars on the body for those with and without diabetes. I never knew that eating meat could have such a profound effect on my health! The numerous studies that were discussed corroborate that if one eats meat, it should make up a minor part of their diet. You should like eating what you eat.
Thanks for leaving the comment Daniel, glad you enjoyed the show!
