In this episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, we talk with James Marin about why you should grow your own food and poop. Ok, ok…while we did talk a shiiiiitaki ton about human and animal feces. James was on the show a few months ago, on episode 346 with his beautiful and smart wife, Dahlia talking about leaky gut and SIBO. But since he wears an environmental nutritionist hat as well and has a love for gardening, we brought him back on the show to tell us about the benefits of growing your own food. We talk about doing it for your body as well as everything you need to know about making your own compost and when to eat the bounty after harvesting. Even if you don’t have any outdoor space, you’ll still be able to find lots of great takeaways and can grow your own food indoors.
James is a Holistic Registered Dietitian, co-founder of Your Gut Connection and co-founder of the Institute of Plant-Based Medicine. He specializes in using whole plant-foods as a form of medical nutrition therapy. James has used his knowledge of food and the environment to help hundreds of his patients prevent and reverse diseases like Gastritis, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s Disease, and many more. His approach takes into account transgenerational factors, stress, nutrition habits, environment, and work-life to come up with a tailored approach for each of his patients
We know you’ll love this one…enjoy and share.
