In this episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, we talk with Dr. Reshma Shah all about children and how to optimize a plant-based diet. Have you ever wondered how to get them to like new foods? What to do if they insist on eating nothing for dinner? And how to know for sure if they are thriving by only eating plants? Well Dr. Shah fills us in on all the info you need to know to stop being a short-order chef and start letting your children take responsibility in eating what you serve. Share this with any parent, plant-based or not as they will learn a lot!
Reshma Shah, MD MPH is a board-certified pediatrician and affiliate clinical instructor at Stanford University School of Medicine. She serves as adjunct faculty for the Stanford Pediatric Integrative Medicine Fellowship and has additional training and certification in plant-based nutrition and cooking. She is the co-author with Brenda Davis, RD of Nourish: The Definitive Plant-Based Nutrition Guide for Families, due out November 2020.
