In this episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, Overcoming Food Addictions, we feature John Brown and his transformation story. He started off like most of us in the beginning. They found the plant-based lifestyle at a time where it seemed like there were no other options. For those of you who have been with us a while, you know our summer episodes always provide great content, but are different from our regular show, giving us some downtime in the summer. So sit back and enjoy or get out there and exercise. We would love to hear your thoughts and how you can relate to their story over on Instagram. We’ll be back in a few weeks.
Today’s plant-based journey comes from John Brown, a high school history teacher. He also helps kids to improve in taking standardized tests. John has participated in National Novel Writing Month (where you write 50k words towards a novel in 30 days) three times since 2009. He also appeared on both Jeopardy (2008) and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (2011). So we guess he’s not bad at trivia! He uses his experience as a self-proclaimed trivia nerd to coach his school’s academic quiz team, and he is an aspiring wellness coach.
In this episode we discuss:
- Finding plant-based
- Losing over 100 pounds
- Asthma
