In today’s episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, we talk to Chris Hague about eating disorders in athletics with a focus on high school and college athletes. Often eating disorders are regarded as a feminine disorder found in cheerleaders, dancers and gymnasts. But eating disorders within the male athletic population is real and the stigma needs to be let go so these boys and men can stop slipping through the cracks. This is an important show for every athlete, student, parent, teacher and coach out there to listen to. Please share this episode so those in need can get the help they deserve.
Chris Hague is a passionate endurance athlete and coach. Along with his wife, he founded Braveheart Canada, a coaching program dedicated to helping athletes achieve their athletic, health, and life goals through an integrative approach that blends nutrition, psychology, and physiology. Currently, he is completing his Masters of Science in sports psychology at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
