In today’s episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast we talk to Dr. Tom Campbell medical director of the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and co-founder and clinical director of the University of Rochester Program for Nutrition in Medicine. You may know him as co-authoring The China Study with his father T. Colin Campbell, PhD. He recently published The Campbell Plan, The Simple Way to Lose Weight and Reverse Illness, Using The China Study’s Whole-Food, Plant-Based Diet.
During the show we talk to Tom and see what foods he is feeding his plant-based son and how he gets in all the good fats for brain development. He wanted us to be sure to let you know that, while it wasn’t discussed on the show, Tom uses and recommends a B12 supplement as well. We also get into some of the hot topics in nutrition today such as gluten-free eating, paleo and mediterranean diets. I love how we basically ruined Tom’s chances from ever running for a seat in the government as we ask him about how he would change policy in the USA.
