In today’s episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast we talk to Sarah Smith Cira about the “Racing for Steve-O Foundation”. Sarah is a wife and mom of three who was told by doctors that she would never run again. She is deeply devoted to raising money to help the local special needs community become more healthy and active in memory of her father Steve Smith, also known as “Steve-O”. Steve was a triathlon legend. He was a swim coach, high school teacher and World Champion Triathlete. He is known as one of the most decorated amateur triathletes of all time having completed over 250 triathlons. Some of his amazing accomplishments include being a 12-time Kona Ironman competitor, winning 6 World Championship Titles, ran the Boston Marathon and he was Featured in Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd”.
