In today’s episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, we talk to Dr. James Loomis, better known as Dr. Jim Loomis, about the big picture and changing the game. Dr. Loomis lets us in on the big picture of the new film, The Game Changers that he had a role in. This film is not yet available to the general public, but after you hear what he has to say, we know it will be moved to the top of your list of must-sees. We really love how articulate Dr. James Loomis is in describing the “health care” system and how he really makes us see things in a practical way.
You’ll find out if there is hope for your doctor to ever get plant-based training, despite their current position on the matter. Having been sick and overweight himself, Jim tells his personal story of getting in shape and gives his perspective on what it really means to be well. You’ll hear if stress has a small or grave effect on your overall health. There is something for newbies, veterans and for those not yet warmed up to the plant-based lifestyle, so please share away on your favorite social media platform.
James F. Loomis Jr., M.D., M.B.A has served as the team internist for the St. Louis Rams football team and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Jim was also on the clinical faculty of the department of internal medicine at Washington University School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated with honors.
He subsequently completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. In addition, Dr. James Loomis received an M.B.A. from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.
