Everywhere you go you hear people talking about how they love their protein and they have to have their protein. Brenda breaks down the Paleo way from a more historical point of view. She walks us through how it is not a sustainable way of life from both a health and environmental standpoint. Want to know if all sugar and carbs being equal? Brenda will straighten you out and to keep it fair, we do discuss the negative consequences of being plant-based.
Brenda Davis is a featured speaker at international nutrition, medical and health conferences in over a dozen countries. She has worked as a public health nutritionist, clinical nutrition specialist, nutrition consultant and academic nutrition instructor.
Brenda Davis is the co-author of nine vegetarian and vegan nutrition classics with over 750,000 copies in print, in 9 languages. She is a contributing author to a tenth book, “The Complete Vegetarian” and has authored numerous professional and lay articles. Brenda is the lead dietitian in a diabetes intervention research project in Majuro, Marshall Islands and in 2007 and inducted into the Vegetarian Hall of Fame.
