In today’s episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast we talk to Dr. Will Bulsiewicz the HappyGutMD about prebiotics, probiotics, fermentation and…well…your gut! We share some extremely interesting facts about the foods we eat and how they effect our gut and the role they play on our overall health. We also discuss prebiotics and dive into the good and bad aspects of fermented foods. Will Bulsiewicz, MD, MSCI, is a plant-based board certified gastroenterologist and gut health expert. He’s a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine. He trained in internal medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at The University of North Carolina. He also received a master’s of clinical investigation from Northwestern University and a certificate in nutrition from Cornell University. Dr. B has a special interest in nutrition, the gut microbiome and integrative gastroenterology.
